Nice to meet you! My love for health at fitness started at the young age of 7 years old when I began my career as a competitive gymnast. I competed for 12 years, started coaching when I was 15, and continued coaching until I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in 2013. After I stopped completing, I needed something to do with all my extra time and that is when I fell in love with the weights. I joined my first gym knowing nothing about weightlifting, but I knew I wanted to remain active keep up on my strength. It’s now been a 10 year relationship between the gym and I!
My first career was in social work. I worked with children and their families as a care coordinator to help provide support and services during difficult times. While I loved my time in social work, I knew my heart was pulling me in a new direction. That’s when I made the decision to go back to school to get my Master’s in Exercise Science and get certified as a personal trainer. I loved the way the gym made me feel, I loved taking my health and fitness seriously, I loved being able to challenge myself and I wanted to share all of that with other women. I have a huge passion for helping others and I am all about evolving into the best version of ourselves and I knew it was time to go full force, which is why I became a personal trainer!
